Posts need to be approved by moderator?

I noticed recently that when I reply to a thread that it must first be approved by a mod... then the post never seems to be approved. I've tried reposting but same result. I'm guessing this a problem with the approval mechanism because I don't see why thanking someone for solving my problem wouldn't receive approval.

     Hi tkhan,

     The forum posts are "post moderated" so you should see your reply right after posting.   Which forum did you post in and when?

    I was replying to my thread in Custom IC Design (http://www.cadence.com/community/forums/T/14511.aspx). I was able to mark the thread as "Answered", but twice I tried posting a reply a few days apart with no luck. I noticed someone else had the same problem, but Andrew said there were not posts needing moderation:  http://www.cadence.com/Community/forums/p/14387/25050.aspx#25050
