Hi all,
I am a beginnner in PCI express and PIPE specifications. I have a doubt in two PIPE signals. There are two signals with names TxDataK and RxDataK which are 2 bit signals. The description for these two signals says they signify whether the incoming/outgoing byte is a Data byte or a control byte.
There is no proper waveform which says the difference between a data byte and a control byte either in PIPE spec/PCIe spec. Could someone please tell me what is the difference between a data byte and a control byte?
Thanks
Shiva
