Hello all,
I've have downloaded and installed ORCAD 16.6 Lite but I get the following error when I start a PSPICE simulation:
"ERROR(15053): Can not initialize PSpice UI"
Does anyone know why this happens and how to solve it?
Also try invoking PSpice using same method and then try running simulation from Capture.
I see the same problem. I did an uninstall and reinstalled the software again, but that did not help. I tried the steps mentioned above, but that did not help (invoking from CMD, etc).
Were you able to resolve the problem?
Same problem here.
I work on win XP 32 bit.
Any idea?
Thanks!
I've got the same issue. Built a simple AC-circuit, simulated, changed the phase shifts, and BAM - encountered this same error that you guys have/had.

Getting that error popup that can be seen in my image.
Can you try invoking PSpice directly from start menu and see if that comes up? This would give us some clue about the issue at your end, is it design specific or a generic one?
Just in case you get same problem on invoking the PSpice from start menu also, can you try renaming the %HOME%/CDSSETUP directory and then try invoking PSpice from start menu.
Hope this helps.
