In a windows environment I was able to debug on target using a GeoSemi Evaluation Kit and the Flyswatter2 JTAG device.

However, in linux, Xplorer crashes everytime I attempt to debug.  I verified the Flyswatter2 is recognized by my system.  Is there something else I need to install to get it working?

This specific forum isn't for technical questions (it's for issues with the forum system itself). However, there isn't really a good place for issues related to Tensilica - so my suggest would be that you contact customer support.
