It is very annoying to see the reply on some posts where commercial products such as mattresses/ games/ project services/ writing services and more are advertised in a technical forum. Cadence kindly look into this.
We are always trying to find ways to improve this. There are various filters which do catch quite a lot of the spam that's posted, but it's not foolproof. We're looking at some approaches which will limit the number of posts available for replying to with link spam which should help, but unfortunately spammers will always find a way through. They increasingly disguise their posts as looking like a technical response but with a link in the post which then gets edited out later so that it only shows up in the email posting.
