I am using cadence to simulate my differential oscillator circuit with injection locking at the harmonic (~10GHz)
I would like to create output frequency/phase noise while sweeping the injection input in power and frequency
The circuit does not work with pss or HB analysis since there is an osc with phase noise component, and these analyses return an error saying the circuit is not atonomous
The circuit doesn't work with transient sims and using the FFT either, except with a resolution around 1MHz (the sweeps take long time)
Since I cannot use pss or HB, and the transient simulations take too long (1ms sim time for 1khz res, and low time step for reconstructing the signal accurately), can I simulate in cadence injection locking phenomena of my oscillator with good frequency resolution and control of injected power and phase noise?
