Why i can't insert pictures from my computer

Hi,everyone.
I'm trying to post a question to the community but find myself can't upload pictures onto the website.
I choose Insert>Image/Video/File>Upload, but every time i click upload there's an orange notice board jump out saying  'An error occurred. Please try
again or contact your administrator', whatever size or formate of pictures I choose.
My broswer is chorme.
