Books: Hyperscale and Automotive

7 Sep 2022 • 3 minute read

breakfast bytes logoautomotive book thumbnailI wrote a book! To be more precise, I worked with co-authors to write two books. In past years, I have done a sort of "Best of Breakfast Bytes" with about 25 posts from the previous year. I did this at the start of last year, and publicized the book in my post A Year of Breakfasts 2021.

This year we did something different. There are two books. In both cases, the backbone of the book are Breakfast Bytes posts from last year. But for the Hyperscale book there are also some posts that Frank Schirrmeister wrote for Semiconductor Engineering. And for the automotive book, in addition to more from Frank and myself, there are also some extracts from material written by Robert Schweiger.

How to Get a Copy

First, both books are available on Amazon worldwide for $9.99 or something close to that in local currency.

  • Hyperscale Computing Trends: 2022 Outlook
  • Automotive Electronics Redefined

We gave away the Hyperscale book at both CadenceLIVE Silicon Valley and the Design Automation Conference. I will have some copies to give away at CadenceLIVE Boston (September 14th). Robert will have some copies of the automotive book at Autosens Brussels (12th to 14th September). I will be at IMAPS in Boston (3rd to 6th October) and should have copies. We plan to be giving away copies of both books at CadenceLIVE Europe in Munich (21st to 22nd November). Maybe some other places too, perhaps the RISC-V Summit in San Jose (13th to 14th December). Makes a great holiday gift!
