Virtuosity: Filtering Plots!

Over the next few weeks, the Virtuosity and Virtuoso Video Diary blogs will focus on the just-released features in Virtuoso®ADE Assembler, Virtuoso®ADE Explorer, and Virtuoso® Visualization and Analysis. Because we have a lot of interesting new enhancements and functionality to talk about, we will be posting twice a week - Tuesday and Thursday. Today's blog is the second of this mini blog series for ADE. This blog will highlight the new Legend Filter that is now available in Virtuoso® Visualization and Analysis. If you're a regular reader of the Virtuosity series, you'll have seen a few blogs recently on filtering in Virtuoso® ADE Assembler and Virtuoso® ADE Explorer. Well, we've extended this capability and the same filters are now available for your plots in Virtuoso® Visualization and Analysis.

The legend in the ADE waveform window can now launch the Legend Filter. This is a tool that enables you to filter your plots. Simply filter for particular values or ranges for your sweeps and corners. The visibility of these plots in the ADE waveform window will be toggled based on what you filter for.

After the Legend Filter has found the plots you were looking for, you can use the context-menu commands on those plots to easily export the plots, change their color, add symbols, and to copy the plots to other waveform windows.
