Virtuoso Studio IC23.1 ISR1 Now Available

Virtuoso Studio IC23.1 ISR1 production release is now available for download at Cadence Downloads. For information about supported platforms and other release compatibility information, see the README.txt file in the installation directory.

Here's a list of the highlights from the Virtuoso Studio IC23.1 release:

• Creating Expressions Using calcVal Wizard (Virtuoso ADE Explorer, Virtuoso ADE Assembler) 
  Use the new calcVal Wizard to edit and debug calcVal expressions in Virtuoso ADE Explorer or Virtuoso ADE Assembler.
• Using Simulation Manager with LSCS (Virtuoso ADE Assembler) 
  Enable the Use Simulation Manager check box in the Job Policy Setup form to use the new decentralized and distributed architecture to manage simulation jobs. This new architecture offloads the computation-intensive tasks from the Virtuoso Studio session and makes the session more responsive. Even if you close the host Virtuoso Studio session that started the simulation, the Simulation Manager manages the progress of simulation jobs.
• Using the Fast Monte Carlo Method (Virtuoso Variation Option)
  Use the Fast Monte Carlo (FMC) method to extract useful statistical information without running the complete set of Monte Carlo samples, especially for high-sigma analysis. This significantly reduces the simulation time.
