Virtuoso Studio IC25.1 ISR2 Now Available

Virtuoso Studio IC25.1 production release is now available at Cadence Downloads. The README.txt file in the installation directory provides information about supported platforms and other release compatibility.

Here's a list of the highlights from the Virtuoso Studio IC25.1 ISR release:

• Tracing Matching Nets Automatically Using the Multiphysics Analysis Assistant (Virtuoso Heterogeneous Integration)
  To automatically trace all matching nets, use the Initiate Net Trace command from the context-sensitive menu of a selected net on the Selection tab of the Multiphysics Analysis assistant. This command allows you to select nets and instances that match the specified search criteria, eliminating the need for manual selection and streamlining the tracing process.
• Compressed S-Parameter Files (Virtuoso Heterogeneous Integration)
  Select the Compress S-parameter file with gzip check box on the EMX tab of the Simulation Settings form to compress the exported S-Parameter file after running the EMX simulator. This helps reduce disk space usage. By default, the file is saved in plain text.
• Enhancements in LVS-Based Binding for Analog Layout Migration Flow (Virtuoso Layout Suite MXL)
  Application Readiness Checker environment variables related to LVS-based binding used in the Analog Layout Migration (ALM) flow have been updated to simplify the flow.
