Celsius Thermal Solver Introduced
Sigrity 2019 introduces Cadence® CelsiusTM Thermal Solver, a complete electrical-thermal co-simulation solution for the full hierarchy of electronic systems from ICs to physical enclosures.
Celsius Thermal Solver uses innovative multi-physics technology to detect and resolve thermal compliance issues. By combining finite element analysis (FEA) for solid structures with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for fluids, Celsius Thermal Solver enables complete system analysis in a single tool.
In addition, Celsius Thermal Solver performs both static (steady-state) and dynamic (transient) electrical-thermal co-simulations based on the actual flow of electrical power in advanced 3D structures.

ClarityTM 3D Solver is designed for electromagnetic and power electronics analysis and simulation. It provides considerable performance improvement on electromagnetic simulation, near-linear scalability, and true 3D system analysis.
Clarity 3D Solver includes the ClarityTM 3D Layout and ClarityTM 3D Workbench GUI tools that you can use to design critical interconnects for PCBs, IC packages (ICPs), and system on IC (SoIC) designs.

New Discontinuity Handling options have been added to automatically handle discontinuities during shape processing.

The PowerTree Setup – One-Step to Create Workspace option has been introduced for enabling the use of the PowerTree topology setup in OptimizePI or PowerDC workspace without switching from the environment.

Electrical Performance Assessment (EPA) checks are now supported for Multi-Die packages.
