planning hull

Hello,

we are using savitsky method while doing a planing regime case for a single speed with different configurations.

now my question is:

1.I have made meshes for different configurations and ran for single speed, can i reuse the mesh for different speeds or i need to do new mesh for every single speed.

Thank you.

    Hi,

you can use the same mesh for different speeds, if the speeds are not too different. This is all because the mesh deformation might handle so large motions. However, if you  activated the Overset option, you can handle any speed but simulation cost will be twice higher approximately.

    Best regards,

    Benoit
