When defining a line type in .lpf with a negtaive layer with an offset, the negative layer will be like a rectangle surrounding it. (first figure)
Is there a way to define a line type that have a surrounding negative layer like co-planar? (that extends only in both sides) (second figure)
Note: I create this negative layer in .lpf file edited as a text
$LINE_TYPE_BEGIN "Top Copper"
! -> Layer offset minWidth flags
"Copper" 0 5e-05 0
"Copper-" 0.001 0 0
$LINE_TYPE_END

For the CPW models, the default layout cells require 3 layers in the lpf file:

    (Layername)
    (Layername)+
    (Layername)-

The first three layers can have any name as long as there is a "neutral", "-" and "+" layer. For example:

    First Metal = center conductor
    First Metal+ = ground
    First Metal- = space

To Know more check the AWR example: File > Open Example... > CPW_Layout.emp
Do you have any specific application with the CPW?

Give this a try and let me know how it goes.
