Mixed Mode S Parameters (Differential Lanes)

ENO606
ENO606 11 months ago

I have an S8P file which is the output from a Vector Network Analyzer.

The 8 port file represents two differential Tx Line lanes, such that Sd11 are physical ports 1 & 3, and Sdd21 represent the ports 3/1 to ports 4/2 combinations

My file is all Single Ended data, but I want to convert it to Differential Mode Sdd11. Sdd21, etc, MWO help menu doesn't seem to mention mixed mode s parameters or differential s parameters.

Has anyone tried this????

Here is few articles, that shows conversion of s parameters.  You can use the equations and write in the Output equations window and use to combine S parameter
