questions about purpose change

Hi

I was informed that there will be some changing about the description of the purpose of layer .

e.g.

From :

M1        accessary

M1        accessary1

M1        boundary

M1        drawing

M2        accessary

M2        accessary1

M2        boundary

To  :

M1       accessary

           boundary

          accessary1

          drawing

M2       accessary

           accessary1

          boundary

What is the obtainable improvement of doing this change?

I wonder that is there any differences between the two descriptions?

Will this change bring some difficult or potential risk to tool (virtuoso) operation?

Any information about this is ok.

Thanks

     Hi,

I'll be honest and say that I don't even understand the question!

Where would this change be made? Which version are you using?

Without a clearer question, I don't think that you'll get a meaningful answer.

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
