VHPI interface Virtuoso AMS Designer

Hello,

I am tempted to switch to Virtuoso AMS simulator due to lack of analog capabilities in mixed language IUS simulator. Does Virtuoso have VHPI interface and PLI Wizard to compile shared libraries for C level access of VHDL objects? I like to port my existing designs with minimal effort.

Regards,

Yaseen

Virtuoso doesn't need a VHPI interface or PLI Wizard. If you're using the AMS Simulator, that is in the IUS stream, and is using the IUS simulator with some additional shared libraries which provide the analog solver (either the spectre, ultrasim or APS engine).

So you would continue to us the VHPI interface or PLI Wizard from the IUS stream.

You can specify any additional command line arguments to the simulator in the Simulation->Options menu, including any to link in any PLI routines you've created (using the Wizard, say).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
