Cadence menu's blank when using NX

Hi there,

has anyone ever seen an issue with blank menu's in schematic and layout when using cadence via NX. We have tried adjusting every NX configuration setting possible but of course the solution may be a combination of settings that we have not tried yet

Thanks

    Hi Guys,

i have discussed it with a guy i know at a cadence but i've not logged it officially yet.

The version of cadence is:  IC5141_USR6

The setup for using NX is:

    1) NX is fired up from an ubuntu 8.04 laptop

    2) The machine on which the NX is running is gentoo linux

    3) From that gentoo linux machine i ssh onto a 2nd machine which is redhat linux 4.0

    4) From that redhat machine i run cadence

    Cheers

    Stu
