Schematic Design, ADE L, Spectre

I try to analyse example of analog scheme (invert from examples of Ethernet).

[URL=http://img8.imageshack.us/my.php?image=inv.png][IMG]img8.imageshack.us/.../URL]

When I launch ADE L from Schematic and try to simulate and plot, nothimg appears.

[URL=http://img19.imageshack.us/my.php?image=analys.png][IMG]img19.imageshack.us/.../URL]

Is this message error?

Where can I view simulation (simulation error) log?

How do I launch simulation and see results of any analyses type?

You can see listing of checkSysConf MMSIM (forgot comman) below  and

                                  checkSysConf - r .

    It appears that you are using the AMS methodology kit. The AMS kit contains some scripts to help verify that environment setup is correct. Please try running the following command from the directory where you started viirtuoso:

    $AMSKITHOME/setup_common/prog/2c_validate_env.csh 05A

    This will check to make sure you have the required licenses and tool installations in your $PATH. Where "05A" is the corresponding workshop scenario from the AMS kit.

    You can access the simulation log via the ADE simulation window menu through "Simulation->Output Log..." However, the simulator (in this case spectre) must first have been successfully started. It is not clear in your case that you got this far.

    I don't believe Fedore 9 is supported. The recommendded release from the kit release notes is redhat 4.4. The script will also check other things such as your environment setup to make sure the require software is installed. It will also check your license server for the required license products. But probably it will only perform these additional checks is you are using a supported OS.

    Thank You, Jim.

    This error with simulation was because I runned Cadence on Computer where License is not installed.

    It was not server computer.

    But another problem.

    1) ssh -C -X Server

    2) I am doing all how written in  05B_AnalogBlockDesignOptimization Tutorial

    But when I Run test at server computer from ADE GXL, where the license installed,  this message appears

    How can I solve this problem?

    It would appear that the spectre simulator is jnot in your path. From a UNIX, terminal before you launch virtuoso you should be able to run call the following command to determine if spectre is in your path and that you are using the correct version for your specific release of the AMS kit.

     spectre -W

    Please check the kit release notes or the administrator's guide for specific software requirements. You may have to work with your system administrator to get the software installed and your enviornment properly configured.
