QRC extraction problem

archive
archive over 16 years ago

Hi

I am using Assura(V3.2)-QRC(EXT8.1) flow for the  extraction.

When I started the run, it was stopping while running capgen (Techgen -trans) by giving error number CAPGEN-41414.  why it is running Techgen automatically.

I have all the files which is used for extraction.

Where can I find the  man of the command CAPGEN-41414 .

Please help me

Thanks,

Chaitanya.

Actually the full message you get with that error should give a reasonable clue. It is likely to be of the form:

ERROR (CAPGEN-41414): -dsub layer 'someLayer' not found in lvsfile.

The root cause is that the lvsfile (which is generated from the extract.rul in the techgen compilation step) has got out of sync with the extract.rul file  since the last time the techgen compilation was done.

At least that's what I think the problem is, from the limited information you gave...

    Regards,

    Andrew.
