Cosimulation using ADE with spectreVerilog as simulator

To perform spectre simulation , we need spectre compatible models.

Can we convert eldo compatible models to spectre compatible models ?

Spectre can natively read SPICE syntax models, and generally speaking Eldo models will work fine. There are a few bits of Eldo syntax which might need modifying to more generic SPICE syntax before they're accepted (for example, I think Eldo sometimes uses {} around expressions, and that's not understood by spectre).

Most foundries would have spectre models available though, so it's probably best to try to get those first - just in the interest of minimizing the work you have to do.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
