Questions Regarding the Virtuoso XL Layout

Dear All,

I am a beginner of XL Layout and I have a question regarding the auto generating basic layouts from schematic. According to some tutorial materials, in the Virtuoso XL Layout window, after clicking Design->Gen From Source, I should be able to see both the boundary box and instance cells. However, the only thing that I can see is the boundary box. (in the original schematic, I have mos, cap, res etc) By the way, I am using IC5141. Thanks.

    Hi,

The components are there but you can not see them because there are so tiny

Try to zoom in at the point where the two axies are crossed , normally should somewhere near there

    Regards

    Nick
