Cut Guard Ring - TTB

 This one will not take care of drc spacing? For example, when I have M1 bus crossing the guard ring

I tried to cut that portion using "cut guard ring".This will remove that portion but the guard ring M1s

are still shorted to the M1 bus which crossing the guard ring.

It won't push those guard ring M1 to have DRC clean ?
