creating datasheets with ADE-XL

Hi All,

We are able to create datasheets with ADE-XL which is very useful. However, the value of these would be enhanced if it were possible to also attach snapshots of the testbenches and the schematics along with these. Otherwise, it is entirely unclear what means were used to achieve the specs shown in the datasheet. Atleast there ought to be a hierarchical PDF of the schematics in a file.

I am sure that this feature must be available. I have known in-house simulation utilities which create similar datasheets from various runs and attach schematics also. It would be hard to imagine that Cadence has not considered this in the design of ADE-XL. Can someone tell me how I can do this?

Regards,

Vivek

You can contact  your university EE department to find out who the appropriate university contact person is, and then they can get onto support.cadence.com . If in Europe and under Europractice, they can log a request with Europractice who will in turn contact us.

There is currently no method to automatically generate the datasheets after simulation, although actually it would be possible to put in a trigger to do this via some customisation. Beyond what I have time to do via the community forums (I monitor this as a side hobby; I'm not officially doing this for Cadence).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
