Time average transient waveforms???

Hi all

What's the best way to perform a time average on a set (tran-sweep) of transient waveforms?  I'm doing a multiple-run transient noise analysis and want to view the averaged data and perform a psd on that average as well.

  • To clarify, are you looking for the end average value or are you looking for the average of the waveform at each point in time?

    The end-average value can be calculated with the average() command.  If you are looking for the instantaneous mean of a waveform, you'll probably have to write your own skill routine to do this.
