Noise Analysis

rishimnnit
rishimnnit over 15 years ago

We are currently working on a circuit to tune the transconductor on cadence software (virtuoso).

We have designed the circuit but now we want to do the noise analysis for it.We are unable to do so.

Please help us with the noise analysis in CADENCE

thanks in advance......

"unable to do so" is not terribly descriptive of your problem. You'll need to give more information such as:

    1. Which simulator are you trying to use?
    2. How are you launching that simulation (via the Analog Design Environment, or standalone?)
    3. Did you try selecting "noise" as the analysis in ADE for the simulator you're using?
    4. If so, what was the problem?

Before posting questions such as this (and you posted it under  Feedback, suggestions and questions which is not a particularly focussed place to post it), please think carefully if anyone is likely to be able to understand what your problem is.

I'm assuming you're not after a basic "how do I simulate things in virtuoso" type answer - normally you'd have done some basic simulation first before starting noise analyses (to make sure the circuit works) - so I assume you're past that.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
