Hi,all

for some reason,i determined to run the AMS simulator for my design. I sets all the configuration for the AMS simulator, when first runing, all seems right, but when ncsim is running, a fatal error occured, It noticed me that ,'You have not permission to run the virtuso spectre simulator". why ? what cause the problem, does anyone have the ideas?

This means you don't have the right license to run the Mixed-Signal part. You should contact your Cadence Account Manager.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Actually the message means that it can't find a license for the analog part of the mixed-signal simulation. The various licensing configurations are complex - there are lots of ways that the licenses could be provided.

Whatever licenses you do have, the software doesn't think you have the right licenses. So you might think you have the "complete license" but the software does not (whether this is because it can't see the licenses, or whether the licenses are in use, or whether the licenses have been blocked, I can't tell. Or maybe you don't actually have the right license!).

Since I've no idea what licenses you do have, there's really no way for me to debug this - this is precisely the kind of thing you should contact Cadence Customer Support for, because then we know what customer you are, what licenses you have, and can guide you better.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
