Weird plotting problem in ADE

Hi,

I am running a transient sim. After running a simulation for a certain amount of time, when I try to plot a node, it gives me a blank plot with a small dot at t=0. The time scale is -1 to 1 seconds.  Zooming to the  point doesn't show anything.

Has anyone else encountered the problem? Is it something to do with the simulation space?

Thanks,

Mandar

Looks like there isn't any data dumped yet. Instead of plotting, try dumping the value in a table and see if it has any values printed in table. Right click on a signal from Results Browser and select "Table".

Were you able to plot once the simulation is over? If it plots fine, then most likely the data was not available when you tried plotting.

I am not sure why it's showing the time scale from -1 to 1 seconds. What's the sub-version you are using? "icfb -W" will give the sub version. Please make sure you are in one of the latest sub version available.

    Regards,

    Ramkumar

     Hi Ramkumar,

Thanks for your input. The  icfb subversion is 5.10.41_USR5.90.69.

The issue is with the length of transient analysis. I usually plot during simulation and keep updating the waveforms. Waveforms get updated for some time and then after a point, I get the blank window with x - axis from -1 to 1.So I assumed that the data is getting dumped, because I can see the waveforms for some time. If I run simulation for a short time, everything is fine.

I tried to print to a table from the result browser. There is just one value in the table for t=0. This is the same for all the nodes. This explain why there is just one point in the graph and the scale. However, I still don't understand what happens after running the sim for more time.

Thats why I thought it was a space issue.
