Hi all,

I would like to change via's cut_overhang in VCAR for autorouting.

How can I change or re-define this property?

Thanks,

James

    Thanks for your replying.

The vias defined in the tehcfile are asymmetric like rectangle shape(overhang 0.04 on both, 0 on the other).

I want to use a via having 0.03 overhang xy directions like square shape for detail routing. in order to that, I tried to play with Define/Forget via properties menu, which does not work.

curretly the only way I can find is to add those vias in the techfile and select those vias that I would like to use for autorouting, however ,the final goal is to assign/define the via properties I want to get without changing the techfile.

    Thanks
