Relative coordinates

I want to build a box of known x and y where I want to build it from any point in the layout. I start the rectangle command and click the first point, how can I enter the points on the command line and get the box I want.

IC5.1.4.1

Thanks

    Robert,

Right now, you'd enter have to change the bindkey for the left mouse during an enter function to record the current point, and then have a bindkey to pop up a form which would allow you to enter a delta, and then use the previously recorded clicked point together with the delta, and do an addPoint() on the result of the calculation.

Or write your own function for drawing rectangles which allowed you to digitize a single point (with enterPoint) and specify the width and height of the rectangle on an options form, and then create it using dbCreateRect.

Or contact Customer Support and ask for an enhancement - it's a good suggestion.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
