Label Option form not displaying

jrem
jrem over 15 years ago

I am trying to add labels to my layout using Virtuoso IC6.1.-64b.485 and the label options form is not displaying. At the bottom of the CIW window, it says to "Use the option form to enter the text of the label:" after I select Create->Label... from the layout window.

It looks like the function leHiCreateLabel(hiGetCurrentWindow() leGetEnv("labelMode")) is issued but nothing happens

 Any ideas?

Does it appear if you hit "F3"?

What window manager are you using? I have seen issues with options forms not being brought to the front due to the "focus stealing prevention" behaviour of some window managers.

    Regards,

    Andrew

In 5.1.41 the options form poped up automatically when you started the "Create Label", no matter

if you have set the option in the CIW->Options->User Preferences->"Options display when command start".

That changed in 6.1.  which may be the trouble here.  F3 should work and I have filed a CCR already which will

    bring back the old behavior.

     Regards,

    Marc
