Cadence IC6 How to Get all the data graph

Hello,

I am new to cadence IC6. I was simulating a NMOS Common Source stage by sweeping Vgs for different values of Vds(parametrize vds). In the end I plotted Id vs Vgs for different values of Vds. Now when I go to the result browser to get graphs of different parameters (such as gmoverid, cgs,gm,gds), instead of getting continuous values for various parameters, cadence only plots one value of the parameter vs Vds.

In the old cadence 5 I was able to get all these plots by making a .scs file, save: oppoint and then adding the file to the model libraries. I have tried it in cadence 6 and not getting the continuous results that I want.

Is there anyting I am missing? I placed a tick mirk in the dc analysis options in fornt of save dc oerating point, but still I am getting values of different parameters at specific values only.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Hi Yousuf,

Please make sure to check the parameters values in "dc-dc"  instead of "dcOpinfo-info"  in the result browser.

Apart from that check if you have used the correct hierarchical path in the save statement like I8.I1.M0:gm  and you are not getting any

warning messages related to the save statement in the log file.

    Best Regards,

    Sunil
