Problem with plotting results in ADE XL

I've done a monte carlo run, based on simulator settings which give plotable results using ADE L. Opening ADE XL I've loaded the saved simulation, set the model library to be cmosmc, tell it that I want 10 runs and selected "save data to allow family plots" on the monte carlo dialogue, and then run the simulation. It reports sucessfully completing the (10) runs but comes up with a blank graph. When I go to the results panel and choose the default view, I can right click on one of the traces listed and choose "direct plot" -> "main form" according the manual, but at this point it says "There is currently no analysis data found or selected". Selecting rows doesn't help. I remember getting this working a few weeks ago but now I can't remember how. Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong?

    Hi Sim

    Would the problem go away if you re-run the simulation? As usual, if this looks like a bug, it might be good to first re-try using the latest version of IC614.

     Thanks Quek, but unfortunately, even after restarting the problem persists. I'm running version IC6.1.3.1, but I'm fairly sure it's a problem with my settings rather than a bug because I've got a family plot working automatically before for a different schematic. Any other ideas?

    What version of MMSIM were you using? It might be this you're seeing - Cadence Online Support Solution 11603660.

    That was fixed in MMSIM711 ISR17.

    If that doesn't fix it, I'd take Quek's advice - try a newer version of IC613, or better still, IC614, and if it's still an issue, contact Cadence Customer Support.

    Thanks Andrew. Unfortunately I can't get into that page of the support site at the moment (it's asking for me to register using a hostid or reference number that I don't think I have available to me at the moment, so I'm waiting on that). However in the mean time I think I've figured out what the problem is - it won't print results if the cell name has a hyphen in.

    In that case, it's likely to be a different issue. There were some issues with name mapping - if I recall - if the name had some characters which weren't "simple" alphabetic/numeric characters. I think these have been fixed, but it was probably since the original release of IC613 (which is what you were using), so you'd have to use a newer subversion (ideally the latest IC613 hotfix or IC614 hotfix), or just avoid names with unusual characters for now.
