Hi all! I would like to know if there is a tool or a function with cadence IC 5.1.14 that allows to ignore some blocks when doing a simulation on a schematic containing independant blocks ? Best Regards

     Hi Isazulkc,

You can set nlAction=ignore on a block that you do not wish to netlist, but the block will just be omitted (any wires would be dangling).

    Hopefully this will help you.

    Regards,

    Lawrence.

You may also find this Cadence Online Support solution useful: http://sourcelink.cadence.com/docs/db/kdb/2009/Jan/11523164.html

It provides some SKILL code to interactively ignore instances.

    Regards,

    Andrew

Hi, Thanks for your answers guys. Because I have cadence through a university program I don't have access to sourcelink. Andrew, is it possible to add the file you referred to in sourcelink archives? Thanks again isazulkc

Here's the code attached (had to zip it because it did not let me attach a file with a .ils suffix).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
