problem with corner tools

 hi,there

i want to run corner simulation and when i click Tools->corner in the ADE,it only shows  wrong message in the CIW as below:

*Error* The jre process is not running; Unable to find the jre executable.

 

and the corner window does not open.

what should i do? thanks

    Best to contact Cadence Customer Support over issues like this. There was an old issue (but this was fixed back in 4.4.5) which meant that if you had this cdsenv:

     asimenv loadCorners    boolean nil

    then it would have this problem. More recently I found a case when somebody didn't have <ICinstDir>/tools/dfII/bin in their path.

    If it's neither of these, please contact Cadence Customer Support, or your usual support channel.

    I had exactly the same error before, in my case, i didn't have libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 installed,neither did i have java installed in my system. when I finished done both, it worked.
