Compiler error

Dear All.

I am trying to run somebody's code (in VerilogA) on Cadence and test it using Virtuoso. Actually the cell name noisymos calls for a function (another cell) which is in the same library. The second function name is wire. When i run the code. the compiler says that it cannot open the cellview called 'wire' in 'r' mode whereas the cell wire is placed in the same library and has all the persmissions of read, write and execute. Can anyone suggest me the possible reason fo this error ?

    One possibility is if the cellView was created for (say) a third-party tool that supports VerilogA and has it's own view type.

    Perhaps you can go to the cellView directory, and do:

    # show the cellView directory contents and permissions
    ls -al
    # show the master.tag
    cat master.tag
