 Hi,

One user is reporting below issue.

 @(#)$CDS: conn2sch version 6.1.4 02/09/2010 21:16 (sjfdl233) $  Thu May  6 14:54:03 2010

WARNING (CONN2SCH-135): Signal 'gnd!' terminates with '!' but is not defined as global in the source cell
view. This signal would be marked global by the schematic extractor.
INFO (CONN2SCH-372): Checked-in schematic PM_CASCODE_FINAL_LAYOUT_HANDLEERROR (CONN2SCH-568): A memory error has occurred during cellview import. Use one or more of the
following settings to import the design again:
    1. Turn off the Full Place and Route option in GUI or use the +place_only in
standalone mode.
    2. Turn off the Extract Schematics option in GUI or use the +noxtrsch option
in standalone mode.
    3. Turn off the Analog Schematic Generation option in GUI or avoid the use of
the -asg option in standalone mode.
If these settings do not work, contact Cadence Customer Support.

During the conversion from netlist to schematic user keep having a memory error.

User tried all the 3 suggestions they give in the log file, but the problem persists.

Any idea. Appreciate your help.

Thanks.

We always try to help even when people are using unsupported OS. However, first thing might be to check if you can reproduce it on a supported OS, just to eliminate that as a factor. Quite likely it is a data dependent bug which can be reproduced on any distribution of Linux given the problematic data.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
