leHiCreateContact() not working

I am using Cadence 6.11

The Skill function leHiCreateContact() is not working. When I try to use it I get the error message:

leHiCreateContact function not found

Has this function changed forom previous Cadence versions?

    Hi badry

    Please use leHiCreateVia(). I would also advise you to upgrade to the latest IC614 as IC611 is quite out-dated.

    Best regards
    Quek

     Thanks Quek, that was really helpful

    I wonder if there is some document listing the changed functions. I have a problem also with doCreateLabel() which doesn't work in the newer release

    Thanks!

    Some are covered in <ICinstDir>/doc/skdfrefWN/skdfrefWN.pdf (Virtuoso Design Environment SKILL What's New) and some in <ICinstDir>/doc/dfoaAdopt/dfoaAdopt.pdf

    However, you mention dbCreateLabel - that has not changed,  and I see no reason why it wouldn't work in all releases.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

     Thanks

     Actaully a wrong function was used; doCreateLabels. I replaced it by leHiCreateLabel and it worked
