Check in Spectre license automatically

archive
archive over 15 years ago

Dear All,

I was wondering if there is any automatic way (I would have thought something like a Skill command) to check in the Spectre license right after the end of a simulation, Virtuoso keeps this license checked out and you must eithet close the ADFE window or press the stop simulation button to release the license

 Best Regards

    Hi Nik,

    envSetVal("spectre.envOpts" "controlMode" 'string "batch")

Do this before you start ADE (or have it in your .cdsinit). The downside is that parametric sweeps will not be as fast, because it will exit the simulator after each point in the sweep, and restart for the next point.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
