Using derivative function in RelXpert (i.e. for slewrate, etc)

Hi,

Does RelXpert support using derivative function in the measurement or probe statement?  (i.e. for slew rate, Gm, etc.)

Though hspice can simulate the derivative function, I get errors when the derivative function is used in RelXpert simulation.

thanks,

-jchc

You should contact customer support about this. Personally I've used RelXpert with Cadence simulators, but I've not tried it with hspice. I think that what you're describing should work with spectre, but I don't know about hspice.

Does tend to help if you actually say what the errors were - it can give a clue - and more detail about what you're doing. But a better place to do this is by logging a service request on http://support.cadence.com

    Best Regards,

    Andrew.
