Assura dataAuditErrors

 Hi,

Assura drc result shows dataAuditErrors on flattened pcells on vias/contacts.  This required manual select (selection object in layout is 0) and delete on flagged error location in layout one by one to get drc clean. May I know is this a real drc error? Is there a way to get rid of these errors.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

KL

    Hi KL,

dataAuditErrors are checks for reentrant shapes, paths with single points, etc, etc. Search in the documentation for Assura for "dataAuditError" and you'll find a description of "Invalid Graphics Data" which explains this.

Generally speaking, invalid graphics data has the potential to be misinterpreted by other tools, so most people would want to clean it up first to avoid potential problems in manufacturing.

Your explanation was not terribly clear as to what you actually did to fix it, I'm afraid.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
