when i simulating a simple inverter circuit in ADE .Initially, I used Spectre simulator and the simulations proceeded with no errors. However, it look a very long time. Then, I switched to Ultrasim simulator. While doing simulations with the same test-bench(as used while running Spectre simulations), I'm getting the following error:

Successful checkout of ULTRASIM license with total wait time of 0 sec.

    Hi Romay,

I found a couple of reports of a similar problem, in a similarly old version of Ultrasim. Back then (if my memory is correct) Ultrasim used its own front end (parser) and had not yet moved to the new common front end that spectre uses. In some complex cases it had trouble parsing the model files.

The version you're using is old and no longer supported (it's over 4 years old). In the cases that were reported, the problem was resolved by moving to a newer version.
Since there have been MMSIM62, MMSIM70, MMSIM71 and MMSIM72 as major releases since this version, I would suggest you move to the latest MMSIM72.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
