    Hi battu

Would you please provide more info on your question?
    a. What is the tool that you are using? E.g. Virtuoso schematic editor
    b. What is the version? Execute "virtuoso -W" or "icfb -W" in a terminal window

    Thanks
    Quek

There really is not enough information in the question to answer!

I'll make a guess to see if it helps...

I'm assuming that you are changing the "model" parameter value on an instance in a schematic?  The model is what is used by the simulator to know which model to use to represent the device in the circuit for simulation.  So, make sure that the schematic has been "Checked & Saved" and (re-)netlist the design for the target simulator (e.g. Spectre), and then (re-)run the simulation - the new model should be present in the netlist and used by the simulator.

Hopefully this helps, but if not, supply more information (which tool, which version etc. as Quek rightly asked, which simulator).

    regards,

    Lawrence.
