Using VI-style Command line editing in OCEAN?

Hello,

Does VI-style command editing exist for OCEAN (like set -o vi in an xterm)?  I know of the history command, which can be useful, but a lot of times I just want to edit a command that I've given before, not just use it again.  If not, are there plans to offer such a thing in future releases?

 Thanks,

Jake

    Hi Jake,

There are CCRs to request better editing within the "ocean" executable. Not sure about a vi mode though (although that would suit me!).

I suggest you contact customer support so that an enhancement request can be filed. The more this get requested, the more likely it is to get prioritized.

    Regards,

    Andrew
