Quite probably, but it is not a "supported" platform. This means that no testing is done, and Cadence will not commit to fix any problem which shows up when running on that platform which doesn't show up on one of the supported platforms. So it's at your own risk. This is purely because of the impracticalities of testing on an enormous number of possible distributions.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

For something more equivalent (but free) to the officially supported RedHat Enterprise Linux I'd recommend using the CentOS distribution.

     Hi,

I would like to test IC614 on Fedora15. Does it exist a way to avoid the OS test when I run virtuoso ? Because I have the following error : virtuoso:   ERROR: Unrecognized platform.

I know that it is not a compatible platform but I would like to try because my computer have network problems on CentOS.

    Thanks in advance
