ADE XL....Numerous license warnings and delayed run results

When running a test bench in ADE XL, I get numerous license warnings scrolling in my Virtuoso window both before results are displayed and after they are displated as well.  The run is exremely slow (compared to an ADE L simulation) and the system locks up with the spinning icon after displaying results while many lines of warnings are being scrolled???

*WARNING* (icLic-21) License Analog_Design_Environment_L ("95200") is not available to run ADE-L.
Trying to check out the license Analog_Design_Environment_XL ("95210") instead.
*WARNING* (icLic-3) Could not get license Analog_Design_Environment_XL
*WARNING* (icLic-21) License Analog_Design_Environment_XL ("95210") is not available to run ADE-L.
Trying to check out the license Analog_Design_Environment_GXL ("95220") instead.

The above is repeated dozens of times!

It's working, but obviously not optimal...am I missing a setting or something in the XL window?

    Hi,

    Glad you solved the problem.

From your intial post I would have guessed that this might be a license issue. Although this may no longer be relevant in this case, there is a utility in the IC61x hierarchy called perf_test that can be used to help diagnose issues with license problems, use the "-h" option to find out how to use it. It can measure license check out time, network latency and other mesaures.

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
