Placement rows for VCP.

Hi,

In IC6.1, it is not allowed to create placement rows if there are devices in the layout that are not assigned to any component type. Differently this was allowed in IC5. Is someone aware of a way to overcome this different behaviour and get rid of un-assigned cells?

I need it to manage multi-site std cells (layout equivalent to 2 or more rows): if these cells are assigned to a Comp Type, then "Placement Planning" creates rows with doubled (or more) height, so I use the workaround to un-assign the multi-site cells temporary during the rows estimation, and re-assign them once the generation of the rows is completed. This worked perfectly, not anymore with IC6.1

Thank you, Danilo
