Dear all, I have a veriloga model of a cell but when I try to open it (for edit) I get the following message: *WARNING* editFile: Vim: Warning: Output is not to a terminal Vim: Warning: Input is not from a terminal and the file never opens. I can only open it for read. Any ideas? Thanks, Alex

    Hi Alex,

Check how you have the "editor" variable set in the CIW by typing "editor", for me it just returns "gvim" and this seems to work. A common setting is something like "xterm -e vi" and this might be the cause of the problem (on Linux "vi" is 'vim' I believe).

Take a look and see what it is set to, and if changing it solves the problem. Hope it helps!

    Lawrence.
