lmstat command problem

 Hello,

From some time we have some problem with running lmstat command.

We are multysite company and use central license server. In all sites lmstat command works, except in one of the sites.

If I do following in this site:

lmstat -c 5280@<servername> -f <Feature name>

The reponse is:

 Error getting status: Cannot read data from license server system. (-16,10010)

I guess that it is some kind of timing problem, but I do not know how to trace it.

For cetain time I bypassed that problem doing following:

strace -o <dummy_log>  lmstat -c 5280@<servername> -f <Feature name>; rm -f <dummy_log>;

But now this approach also doesn't help.

    Hi tyanata

    This problem is most probably due to network latency. Please see solution
    11670662
    for the full explanation.

    It looks like there is currently no solution for this issue.

    Best regards
    Quek
