Hi ,

    I wan to give MATLAB generated data file as input source to analog circuit for simulation in cadence spectre . How to do it ?

    If you can get matlab to write out in an ASCII file with two columns, time and voltage/current, you can then use a vsource from analogLib, and  choose the type as "pwl" and then select to read the data from a file.

    "spectre  -h vsource" will tell you what format it is expecting it in. The file suffix is irrelevant.
